I think one of the best feelings I get is walking out of the air studio after doing a great radio show. Sometimes, you just know that you nailed everything all night. Good segues, great music, awesome mic breaks that are full of direction and free from studdering, and good response from listeners.

The last few shows that I’ve done have really felt good and I’ve had a little more excitement than normal when doing them as well. For a while, I’ve been feeling a bit meh about doing a radio show of all new music which is what I have been doing for over four years now. There just isn’t a lot to get excited about when you’re playing a lot of music that you don’t know much about, background wise, or have any history with. It’s hard to fill mic breaks when you can’t tell little anecdotes about the bands and such. However, I think I’ve been able to turn my attitude about the show and the idea of it around a bit in the last few weeks. I’ve been more into it and I think that the overall product of the show has been much better.
