The second Futurama movie packs as much greatness into a single disc as the first one did. It’s super bizarre, but highly entertaining.
After a bit of inactivity following Bender’s Big Score, people have gone on with their lives, but the Universe has been ripped apart resulting in an anomaly appearing in the sky. After Professor Farnsworth beats Wernstrom in a rather hilarious game of Deathball, the Planet Express team ventures out to the anomaly to explore. Eventually Fry crosses through the anomaly and comes back with a gigantic tentacled beast.
I won’t go any further into the plot or touch and of the subplots because you should check this out yourself, but I will reiterate that this movie is thoroughly great albeit highly bizarre.
